Summer Closing Party for the whole family in the marina on saturday 27th of August

Padasjoki Commun’s leisure and tourism office organizes Summer Closing Party “Marina Lights” for the whole family in the marina on saturday 27th of August

A comprehensive program for all ages starts in the morning and lasts until midnight. There is Padasjoki football tournament as part of the day’s program and karaoke in Kiuasniemi Marina as part of the early evening’s program. The dinner cruise to Pitokärki with m/s Elbatar leaves from marina at 16.00. After the cruise magnificent fireworks will be held in the marina and artists performs in the program tent. Gather a group of friends and come to enjoy Päijänne National Park scenery and tasty dinner buffet in Pitokärki.

Registrations to dinner cruise must to be done in advance by calling Kuntala center tel. 03 552 911 between 25.7.-24.8. Dinner cruise costs 40 € and it will be paid with even money on boarding. You may go to Pitokärki to have a dinner without cruise in which case reservations will be made to Pitokärki restaurant (Restaurant Modetti) tel. 040 557 0632. Only the price of a dinner is 30€.

A meeting for commune’s leisure residents will be held in the program tent at 12.00-13.00. Commune’s topical issues will be discussed at the meeting.

Brädi performs for young people at 18.00. An entrance fee is 10€. An entrance fee for the program after fireworks is 5€. The program is arranged by the commune. Matti Kallio acoustic will perform first and after that a party band Blast, which received a lot of praise last year.

Also this year Padasjoki department of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare has arranged nice program for children in the program tent.at 14.00-15.00. An entertainer is Pellekaija Pum!
